NPR’s list of The 100 Best-Ever Teen Novels is out, and Tamora Pierce made the list with four of her six nominated series: The Song of the Lioness (#50), Daughter of the Lioness/Tricksters (#81), The Immortals (#83) and The Circle of Magic (#86).
Tamora Pierce was a finalist for the 2012 Mythopoeic Society Fantasy Award for Children’s Literature for the Beka Cooper series. The award went to Delia Sherman’s The Freedom Maze, a book Tammy highly recommends to all her fans. Congratulations, Delia!
The July 2012 issue of Locus Magazine features an interview with Tamora Pierce, as well as interviews with Holly Black and Rae Carson, as part of their focus on Young Adult fiction.

Mastiff has been selected for the 2012 Amelia Bloomer List in Young Adult Fiction category.
The Amelia Bloomer Project is part of the American Library Association’s Social Responsibilities Roundtable Feminist Task Force, and annually selects the best feminist books for children and teens published within the last 18 months. The Amelia Bloomer List recommends books with significant feminist content.
Trickster’s Choice has been named to the Young Adult Library Services Association‘s list of 2012 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults.
